Mount Elgon is an extinct volcano and one of Uganda's oldest physical features. This region is known for its wonderful quality arabica coffees and its fertile hillsides are ideal for growing. Coffees produced have a unique terroir and quality. 

Elevation: 1500-1800M

Process: Extra washed & sun dried on raised beds & hand sorted

Varietals: SL 14 & 28 - both of which are high yield, leaf rust resistant, drought tolerant and boasting exceptional quality. 

Notes (actual - we've been drinking the heck out this one): well balanced clean cup, juicy sweet body, nice milk chocolate, black tea, dark fruit/dates/oats (think matrimonial cake or date square - but not the cloyingly sweet kind).

This makes a fantastic modern espresso but equally good with the other methods. 

 340 gram bags.
